What do fake Pokemon packs look like?
Fake cards make have misspellings, misprinted or blurry text, the wrong card number, or missing symbols. The Mewtwo EX card below was really tricky for me to identify. But, the rarity symbol is missing (usually a circle, star or diamond printed next to the card number) AND the card number is wrong.

How do I know if my booster box is factory sealed?
The box should be firm and not loose. If it feels filmsy, wobbly, easily tossed around, then it’s not factory sealed. Pokemon wants their cards to remain in good condition, if they are loose in the box you would receive banged up cards.

Stockx is a reputable middle man service for shoes that has since branched out into other luxury goods, watches, and now modern Pokemon. You send the shoes/product to them and they verify its authenticity, and then send to the buyer.

They are selling fake pokemon cards at walmart. If it doesn’t say Pokemon on the front, have a picture of it, and the cards are not in a wrapper that is seal its fake. Ive seen these fakes with multiple backgrounds on the cardboard DO NOT BELIEVE THEM.

Just go back to the store and (poitely) complain. They will refund your money just to avoid more problems.

That is not a legal issue. While the Pokemon games do have such a Terms of Service, it is practically impossible to ban any player from the games. Copyright law is where things get interesting. You’re not selling a copy of the game.
Are counterfeit Pokemon cards worth anything?
It’s better to throw them out as they aren’t worth anything and they just end up mixed in with the pool of genuine cards which is a real pain for everyone.
