Can Pokémon hold more than one item?
In competitive battles, a team cannot have more than one of any specific held item. This makes choosing which items to give to Pokémon even more difficult because certain Pokémon will benefit the most from the same held item as others.
How many items can Pokémon hold?
The items pocket can hold up to 30 different items. In Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, and LeafGreen, the player cannot obtain more items if their Bag is full, even if there is room in their PC’s Item Storage System.
