Can you weigh modern Pokemon packs?

Does weighing Pokemon packs still work?

So why weigh Pokemon Booster Packs? Clearly there is no use in weighing a pack to see if anything extra (such as an extra card) has been included in the pack as they will always have the same number of cards and therefore the same weight.

Can you weigh modern Japanese Pokemon packs?

Modern Japanese packs in which not every pack contains a holo can easily be weighted to at least reduce pull rates.

Can you weigh Pokemon booster boxes?

Absolutely not – We do not weigh or search any packs as our feedback shows with people getting great pulls.

Can Japanese booster packs be weighed?

Yes, they can be weighed. Modern Japanese packs are especially susceptible to being weighed because they have a small number of cards, so the difference in weight from a holo to a non-holo is more distinct. They also have no code card so there is nothing to offset the extra weight.

Can Japanese cards be weighed?

No,the japanese packs are impossible to tell what’s in them IMHO. I’ve never heard of people trying to weigh them, and probably never will. The cards in the pack are soooo different from ther TCG,and the card that’s rare is always the last card, but since it feels just like EVERY card,it’s too hard to tell.

What is considered a heavy Pokemon Pack?

We weighed several hundred packs and based on the data we collected the typical range for packs is anywhere between 22.25g – 22.65g. There have been a few lighter or heavier than this range but those are extremely uncommon. With that being said, it is safe to so any pack 22.45g+ would be considered HEAVY.

Can you weigh hidden fates?

I don’t think weighing hidden Fates is effective. I’ve watched a few videos where people try to do it and it never really helps. The heaviest packs may have a regular GX or Holo with a reverse holo but packs with a shiny GX and non holo rare have still been weighed fairly light. they are weighable.

Can sleeved boosters be weighed?

No, and here’s why. If you open packs and see a white code card, it means that there is at least a holo in that pack. A green code means no holo. Since holos and Ultra Rares weigh more than non-holos, the weight difference is made up by the code cards, making weighing extremely inaccurate.

How many grams is a heavy Pokemon Pack?

There is no way to weigh these reliably enough, and since these are only sold in big box stores for the most part, no one is going to be weighing them when they could be weighing single packs.
