Can I give away Pokémon on Pokémon Go?
Trading allows you to exchange Pokémon with your friends and make progress on completing the Pokédex. Trading occurs in-person and in real-time so you’ll need to be in close range of your friend in order to trade Pokémon.
Can you trade back a Pokémon?
Currently, the game doesn’t allow players to trade a Pokémon more than once, meaning that if a trainer has given away one of their Pokémon, they will not be able to get it back, nor could it then be traded to someone else. Effectively, even trade in Pokémon GO is set in stone and can’t be undone or reversed.
Can legendary Pokemon be traded?
Players can only trade one legendary Pokemon or shiny Pokemon in one day. Pokemon that are traded in alternate forms or event costumes that the other player hasn’t obtained yet are also counted as unregistered. While most legendary Pokemon can be traded, mythical Pokemon cannot be traded.
How much does it cost to trade a shiny Pokemon?
Trading a Legendary or Shiny Pokémon that your friend doesn’t have yet can cost up to 1,000,000 Stardust. The trade cost decreases to 800,000 for Great Friends, 80,000 for Ultra Friends, and 40,000 for Best Friends.
Does trading Pokémon change IV?
IVs range from 0-15 for each single stat and are individually assigned to each Pokémon. When a Pokémon is traded, its IVs are randomly changed.
Can you trade 100 IV Pokémon?
Yes, it does. Trading Pokemon between friends is a great way to increase the odds of finding perfect IVs. It’s also a good way to boost IVs, too.
