Why are comic books so expensive?
Comics are nomially priced at $3.99 for 20 pages of content. They have to pay the creative team, the distribution, and make profit for the retailer with that money. The comics market has razor thin margins as it is. They are priced so high because they literally couldn’t make comics if they priced it much lower.
