How do I invite 10 trainers to a raid?
If you are nearby the gym, select 10. Wait for trainers to join your room. Make sure that you become friends with all trainers in the room. If you sort your friends by friendship level, you will find them at the top.
Can you invite more than 5 to a raid?
Carefully select the friends you want to invite to raid. You can only invite 5 people at one time, but after a cooldown, you can invite more to the lobby. Once the invites are sent out, your friends will get a notification about the raid and will be able to join you.
Can you invite 10 people to a raid?
Niantic has confirmed that the maximum number of Trainers joining Raid Battles remotely is normally 5, but currently, the maximum has been boosted to 10. Trainers who join a Raid Battle in-person can invite up to 5 friends to the Raid Battle, regardless of their friends’ locations.

Ensure that both you and the party leader are online
- Click on your character icon on the bottom left corner of your screen.
- Navigate to the Friends tab.
- Once you’re there, you’ll notice a switch below your avatar.
- Switch your status back to online and try accepting the raid invite once again.
How many can you invite to a raid?
The current maximum amount of invited players who can perform in a raid is 10, though it was originally 5. Niantic have not made it clear when this will be reverted back to what it was before, but we’ll update this page accordingly when/if changes are made in the future.
How do I enter a raid code?
Use a Remote Raid Pass to enter the battle and you’ll be sent to your own party select screen. The three-digit code that your friend created will automatically appear on your screen, granting you access. From here, the rest is like a regular Raid Battle.
How do you join a raid invite?
Once you’ve accessed the Raid screen, you can join the lobby by tapping the “Battle” button. You’ll need to use a Remote Raid Pass if you are not within an interactable distance of the Gym or a Battle Pass if you are within an interactable distance.
Where do raid invites go?
Raid invitations will appear on a player’s Nearby screen and in their push notification bar. Any trainer who’s invited to a Raid Battle and whites out can rejoin that same lobby by tapping on the Raid Invite on the Nearby menu again once the overworld loads in.
