Do event Pokemon have ribbons?
Event Pokémon have a special OT and ID number indicating their authenticity and usually a special promotional Ribbon from Generation III onward.
Can hacked Pokemon have ribbons?
Almost all Pokemon distributed through event have one of these ribbons, so if you receive an event Pokemon like this through the GTS, it is hacked. Certain Ribbons can only be obtained in a particular game or generation. Make sure there is no mismatch between your Pokemon’s Ribbons, origin mark or encounter memo.
Can you event Pokémon after event?
In later generations, some of these event-exclusive Pokémon became available through spin-off Pokémon games. However, besides these games, these Pokémon can only be obtained from events, or for some, they can only be caught in the games after an in-game event is unlocked through a real-world event.

You earn Ribbons by completing special tasks in Pokemon Sword & Shield. For example, increasing your friendship to the maximum level rewards you with the Best Friends Ribbon. Once a Pokemon has fought close to 200-300 battles, they can get the Effort Ribbon.
Can you trade hacked Pokemon on Pokemon home?
The notice does not go into further details about the anti-cheat measures that are being implemented to combat this issue, but it does note that the referenced Pokemon cannot be obtained through Home’s trading features, so it appears there’s no risk of inadvertently obtaining these hacked monsters from other players.
