Now depending on your game version, the NPCs will give you a different set of fossils. If you’re playing on Sword, you’ll get two Fossilized Bird fossils, while those playing on Shield will get two Fossilized Drake fossils. Don’t fret, though, as you’ll be able to get the other fossil types later on.
