Does first turn draw Pokémon?
When each turn begins, the active player draws a card from the top of their deck; if you run out of cards in your deck and can’t draw on your next turn, you lose. During each turn’s second phase, you can do any and all of the following: Play any number of basic Pokémon from your hand to your bench.
Can you play a Trainer card on your first turn?
Starting on February 21, 2020 (the date that Pokémon TCG: Sword & Shield becomes legal for tournament play), there will be an additional restriction: the player who goes first cannot play a Supporter card on the first turn. This change is an attempt to make it less of an advantage to go first.

Are fairy Pokemon gone?
The Fairy type ceased being supported by the TCG from the Sword & Shield expansion onwards. Pokémon that are Fairy-types in the main series video games are now grouped with the Psychic type instead.
Is it better to go first or second in Pokemon?
