The Isle of Armor DLC for Pokemon Sword and Shield has reintroduced a fan-favorite mechanic back into the main series Pokemon games. Trainers can now take their Pokemon out of their Pokeballs and have them follow the player in the overworld.

To connect your Poké Ball Plus to Pokémon Sword and Shield, first hit ‘X’ to go to the menu during normal gameplay. Click on ‘Mystery Gift’ and the scroll down to ‘Take a Stroll with Poké Ball Plus’. Once selected, press the Top button or the Control stick on the controller and wait for it to connect.

Can you get Isle of armor for free?
