In the Crown Tundra, head over to the cave entrance to the Frigid Sea. There is a sparkle in the ground containing an Everstone.
What is the everstone good for?
The Everstone can be used to stop the evolution of your Pokemon, which stops the annoying evolution sequence from starting for every level gained after you’ve passed the level for evolution. It can be sold for a low amount.
Does everstone affect ability?
The Everstone has no effect on which ability gets passed down, but there is an increased chance of the offspring having the same ability as the female or non-Ditto parent.
Is everstone permanent?

In this generation only, trade evolutions are affected by the held item loss glitch: If Kadabra, Machoke, Graveler, or Haunter is traded while holding any item (including an Everstone), that Pokémon will evolve and its held item will be permanently lost.
What evolves with a shiny stone?
The Shiny Stone is a dazzling one that evolves a handful of Pokemon including Togetic into Togekiss, Roselia into Roserade, Minccino into Cinccino and Floette into Florges.
