When thrown, a Snag Ball is only visually different from a normal Poké Ball by five streaks of white which appear around it and close on the Pokémon being snagged as the Ball does. This effect looks like a hand grabbing the Pokémon.
Can you capture other trainers Pokemon?
Whenever you try otherwise, the trainer will block the attempt. Even the Master Ball will fail. However, in Coliseum, the protagonist wears a special device on their arm which allows them to catch other trainer’s Pokemon.
