Is Ash canon in the games?
An adventure–separate from those in Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon–is about to begin! So according to the official site for Sun and Moon, the story of the demo isn’t canon. Therefore, the entire story behind Ash-Greninja in the actual games is that someone in a Pokemon Center gave it to you.
Is Pokémon XD a spinoff?
They are considered spin offs but they are similar in the main games in that they have a story mode to beat, they also connect to the main games and you can trade Pokemon to and from them and use your Pokemon in the main games in the battle modes.
Is Pokémon Twilight Wings canon?

Is Pokemon XD or Colosseum better?
Pokémon Colosseum might have been the first, but Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness is a much better game in many respects. A remake or remaster of this game would likely be a much more positive experience for newer players, and old players would surely be excited to see a long-awaited return of Shadow Lugia.
Will there ever be a Pokemon XD sequel?
Colosseum does have a sequel, Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, but it didn’t quite hit the same spot for me. It was lighter and more kid-focused than Colosseum, more like the mainline games. Although, you did get to play as a cyborg, which is absolutely awesome.
