How important are IVs in Pokemon Let’s go?
Pokemon Lets Go Individual values abbreviated as IVs are how players determine if they have a strong Pokemon that is worth Leveling Up. IVs are based on the base stats, such as Attack, Defense, Speed, Special Attack, Special Defense. Each stats goes up to a Maximum Value of 31 and having a maxed out stat is Flawless.
Do Pokemon IVs really matter?
IVs cannot currently be modified or influenced, but the higher they are, the more potential the Pokémon has in battle than other Pokémon of the same species. IVs are carried over when a Pokémon is evolved, so always check it’s worth investing the candy into it before evolving (find out how below).
Can you raise IVs in let’s go?
Using a Bottle Cap you can increase one of your Pokemon’s IV Base Stat to the Max Value. This means you can max out your favorite pokemon’s Special Attack Stat.
Is CP more important than IV?
As explained by RustyMembers the IV is by far more important than the CP of a Pokemon. But actually equally or sometimes even more important is the Moveset of a Pokemon. A Pokemon with the best moveset dps wise but with lower IV will perform better than a similar one with a different moveset but higher IV %.
Is it better to evolve higher CP or IV?
IV corresponds to max CP. So if you evolve the eevee with higher CP then it will also have higher CP post evolution, but it’s maximum CP will be lower. If you plan on pumping lots of stardust/candies into this pokemon then you should choose the higher IV with the higher max.
Should I evolve perfect IV Pokemon?
You can check out our tips for evolving Pokémon in Pokémon Go for more detail, but generally it’s advisable to evolve your high-IV Pokémon before you start spending Stardust to Power Up and increase its Level. That’s because each time a Pokémon evolves, although its IVs stay the same, its moveset is randomised.
What is Max IV Pokémon?
Once your Pokémon is level 100 and you beat Leon in the Pokémon League, you’ll get the option to Hyper Train it at the Battle Tower. In exchange for one Bottle Cap, the trainer will max out one of your Pokémon’s IV stats. This means if you pick HP, they’ll max out its HP IV to 31.
What is a perfect IV Pokémon?
A perfect IV Pokemon is a Pokemon with some its IVs (usually 4-5 of them) at the maximum value of 31. This can be extended to the right Nature, too. To see your Pokemon’s IVs you need an NPC called the IV Judge (or Stats Judge), which is located at the Battle Tree.
How do you get perfect IVs let’s go?
