Make sure to heal up if Bulbasaur can’t take a critical hit though; if you’re saying “it’ll be okay unless it’s a critical hit”, then it will always be a critical hit. As always, Leech Seed is good to set up. Poison Powder isn’t a good option against Rattata, though; Rattata has Guts.
